The two primary forms of lighting used in the Iapygian sink are hazard lighting and soft lighting. The reason for this is most of the time a township will use soft lighting as the Iapygian Dervish is attracted to white and yellow light wavelengths. When there is a major threat then the hazard lighting is used as the yellow light illuminates the area better. The orange lights are primarily used to alert people to danger so if a Isidis Ion Storm is coming toward the township the hazzard lights will be activated.
